Cherry Dark Chocolate Chip Smoothie

Makes 1 large serving

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup any Silk Vanilla Dairy-Free Yogurt Alternative*
1/4 teaspoon vanilla paste or extract
1 cup frozen cherries (do not thaw)
1/3 cup Silk Original or Vanilla Almondmilk, Soymilk, Almond Coconut Blend (unsweetened or original)
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed/ flaxmeal
2 tablespoons bittersweet or semi-sweet chunk or chips

DIRECTIONS:

1. Add everything except the chocolate to a blender and pulse until blended and smooth. If you want the chocolate blended in, add the chocolate now and pulse for about 5 seconds.
2. Pour into a tall cup, if you haven’t added the chocolate yet, stir it in and enjoy!

Plant-Powered Smoothie

Makes 2 small servings (about 12 ounces each)

INGREDIENTS:

Protein Ingredients
5.3 ounces Silk Vanilla Almondmilk Yogurt Alternative (or other flavor)
3/4 cup Silk Unsweetened Almondmilk (Original or vanilla)

Fresh Ingredients
3/4 cup - 1 cup fresh/frozen fruit (berries, pineapple, cherries, banana, mango, dragon fruit, avocado, etc.)
1 handful spinach or kale leaves or microgreens or 1/4 cup grated carrots or beets, or pumpkin puree

Smart Fats and Flavor
1 tablespoon natural-style nut/seed butter (peanut, almond, sunflower, etc.)
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed or chia seeds

Flavor Add-Ins
1/4 teaspoon Vanilla extract or 1/8 teaspoon Coconut or Maple extract and/or
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, ground ginger, etc. and/or
1 tablespoon apple butter or unsweetened cocoa

DIRECTIONS:

1. Add your Silk Almondmilk Yogurt to a blender container along with Almondmilk, your choice of fruits, nut or seed butter and/or ground flaxseed or chia seeds.
2. Add an extract or ground spice if desired then finish with a nutrient-rich veggie if desired. Keep in mind red fruits with added greens will tend to turn your smoothie brown.

Lavender Honey Oat Iced Latte

Lavender Honey Oat Iced Latte

Makes 1 serving (12 ounces without ice)

INGREDIENTS:

Lavender Honey Water (makes about 2/3 cup)
1 cup water
4 Lavender herbal tea bags (Lavender Chamomile tea can be used too)
1 tablespoon honey (use 2 tablespoons for a stronger honey flavor)

Latte
1 cup Silk Oatmilk The Vanilla One (another flavor can be used)
3 tablespoons Lavender Honey water
1/4 cup cold espresso or extra strong coffee (decaf or caffeinated)
Ice as desired

DIRECTIONS:

1. Add water, honey and tea bags to a small, nonstick saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low for a gentle boil and let this simmer, stirring often, until it reduces to about 2/3 cup (about 8 minutes).
2. In a tall latte glass, add the Oatmilk and stir in 3 tablespoons Lavender Honey Water and the espresso. Add ice as desired and enjoy!

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Overnight Oats

Makes 2 small servings (or 1 large serving)

INGREDIENTS:

1 tablespoon natural style peanut butter
3/4 cup SILK Oatmilk The Vanilla One (or other flavors), divided use
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1 tablespoon chia seeds (ground flaxseed can be substituted)
OPTIONAL: 1 teaspoon maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon vanilla paste or extract
1 tablespoon semi sweet mini chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:

Add peanut butter to individual serving bowl and stir in 1/4 cup of the Oatmilk. Stir in the oats and chia seeds. Stir in the remaining 1/2 cup of Oatmilk, maple syrup (if desired), vanilla paste or extract, and mini chocolate chips.
Cover the bowl and keep in the refrigerator overnight. ENJOY the next day!
